This department is also responsible for applying special treatments to particular caps to create special sonic characteristics.Like most speaker components, dust caps are available in a wide variety of materials, colors, shapes and sizes.The dust cap, special treatments, and logos can affect the acoustics of a loudspeaker so not all caps can be used in every application.
